What if a friar remembered you every time he celebrated Mass?
Picture this…
Standing in the sacristy in our private chapel as he vests for Mass, a Franciscan friar faces a wall of tiles. The friar looks up at the wall and, seeing your tile, whispers a prayer for you and your intentions. He then bears your intentions in his heart as he enters the sanctuary to celebrate Holy Mass.
Today you can purchase your own prayer tile to be hung in our sacristy, and the Franciscan Friars of the Holy Spirit will remember your intentions at every Mass!
All funds raised from the tiles will go towards refurbing the Our Lady of Lourdes grotto adjacent to the Friary. The grotto used to be a hub of prayer for the Natives we serve but has been in disarray for 30 years. Now, we're restoring the grotto to what it used to be so it can once again be a place of prayer.
